Honey
Our honey is produced from Italian bees located in California... San Jose/Willow Glen and in San Martin. The flavor and color vary due to the different nectar from the flowers in the surrounding areas at a particular time within a five-mile radius.
Honey Produced from the San Jose area, especially the early spring harvest is loaded with floral notes (noticeably rose and lavendar), citrus, and herb. It is very light in color and delicate in flavor. The honey from San Jose during a later harvest is a bit darker, more subtle in the floral and citrus flavor with a bit more of a wildflower note.
The honey produced in San Martin where many fruit trees, vineyards, nut trees, and wildflowers grow, tastes just like its surroundings. It is darker in color, a little heavier and with a definite sweet fruit flavor.
